If there is a myth about Slovenians, it is definitely about hiking in the mountains! And I am no exception regarding this topic! 🙂 I particularly like panorama view from the peaks of our Alps. That is also the view that I wish to re-create in my paintings, to give the viewers a feeling of being there – on the top of the mountain.
Foreigners are mostly familiar with our Triglav National Park in the Julian Alps, but the painting here was created after visiting the Kamnik-Savinja Alps. You can experience such view during the climb on the mountain called Raduha … or you can simply admire it on the painting on your wall!
