This is how I felt when I was creating my 25th solo exhibition – Never just black-white. The very foundation was my perception of topical issues of our time and my inner feelings, when I have tried to understand it. From this chaos I wanted to summon a black and white tale, as in real life nothing is so certain, everything is happening somewhere in between.
WHITE, which is build up of entire spectrum and BLACK, which absorbs the spectrum completely. Opposite poles, which are however forced to merge. On the dominant bright contrast of black-white or white-black, I wanted to show their mutual reliance. Our life is at the same time a cycle where the black and white tale unfolds. How to get out of it? How to capture its endurance?
The black on white is a tale, the written words in the book, but the colors .. the colors are the happening.
